Good news on the employment front. Between now and 2026, 65 new jobs are expected to be created.

Based in Collombey (VS), Acomet, a company that has built up a reputation in Switzerland and Europe over its 50 years in business, is moving to a new site not far from the Bellerin railway station.

‘New jobs coming to the municipality are always a positive thing,’ says Alberto Cherubini, mayor of Bex.

The Villars golf course has opened its doors. Villars-sur-Ollon is fortunate to have an 18-hole golf course located halfway between the village and the ski area. The 2024 season promises to be an exciting one, with the return of the 24 hours of golf. A junior section has been set up to encourage access to the game for younger players and to help them develop.
